Actually, this auto helmet is more suitable for the welder who works under the lack of light situation. The traditional one sometime can cease welding and kill the arc suddenly. In addition, if this condition happened, the welders are going to have a serious problem. Leaving welders in a perfect darkness are really risky. Considering the probability of this condition, most construction company now requires each worker wear auto helmet. The purpose is making possible to all workers to walk the buildings without being interrupt by minor light. Auto helmet also useful for farmers who has outdoor job. The auto helmet does not allow unacceptable light get into helmet. Perhaps someday auto helmet is a commonly use by all the workers and become a standard helmet. It may happen because of the capability of auto helmet to reduce eyes irritation and also the demand of Federal and Insurance agencies.
Usually, there are two type of auto helmet that can darkening automatically. First, is using battery powered and other is solar powered. Solar powered is more efficient if the workers do their job outside and battery powered is match with workers who done their job in deep inside of large structure or even underground. Both of auto helmet has a sensor to detect whether to reduce amount of glare.

It will be darkening automatically when face the light or arc and will be clear up after the welder shuts off the arc. Therefore, the welder isn’t needs a hand to lift or push down the visor whenever meet unexpected situation. Even though this auto helmet works like that, the manufacture didn’t forget safety factor. They guarantee that welder’s eyes doesn’t irritate with fumes and flying debris.
