Size in Motorbike Helmets

One of important aspect in choosing right motorbike helmets are size. If you get wrong size, the motorbike helmets wouldn’t works maximal for safety. In another word your motorbike helmets is useless. So, it’s very important to know a suitable size when purchasing a new motorbike helmets.
To measure the size of your head, we can use a cloth measuring tape or a rope. Ask someone to make a circle on your head approximately one inch above eyeline. If it is not a biggest part of your head, try to find other, maybe you should move a little above. After that sign the point and find out your size. When use rope you just cut at the point and measure it with a normal tape. Now take your measurement and proceed to next information.

A professional manufacture always present motorbike helmets in various size. Commonly size are Extra small, small, medium, large, extra large. But some varians has ExtraX small and ExtraX large. Here some direction of measurement. Extra small are around 52 – 53cm, and of course ExtraX small below it. If you get measurement between 54 – 55cm, it means correct with a small size. Then for medium size you should have 56 – 57cm measurement. If you fall between 58 – 59cm you would use large size. Knowing you reach 60 – 62cm, large size suit you fine and out of it you should wear ExtraX large.

So just take your head measurement, follow the instruction above, and you will get suitable and comfort motorbike

helmets. But remember, not all the motorbike helmets manufacture have standardize size. Sometime we find the different between Medium size that produce by local motorbike Helmets company and International motorbike Helmets company. You should smart converting them to International standard. However, lack of space or too much space inside your motorbike helmets can be dangerous.
